The University of West Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is sponsoring the March Brown Bag Lunch on the topic of marketing and sales. Jay Massey, Internet Marketing Strategist from Coco Design will be presenting "Using LinkedIn for Business Development and Marketing". This 'how-to' workshop will show attendees practical ways to use LinkedIn to drive traffic to their website and sales to their business.

About the Presenter

P. Jay Massey, Founder / CVO of Coco Design and Coco Government Services (Coco GS) with previous experience as a PC systems consultant for Invesco Funds Group in Denver His diverse background also includes United Parcel Service, founding Video Express – Florida’s first full-delivery video store, and working in radio. 

Coco Design is a national web design and internet marketing firm headquartered in Pensacola, Florida specializing in rich internet application development for browser-based and handheld devices. Established in 1994, Coco's expertise grew out of a passion for new media design toward a focus on web-based information technology. Coco provides web application design, development and marketing services to commercial, non-profit and government organizations.

Along with his duties at Coco, Jay frequently speaks to schools, businesses and professional associations on e-commerce, internet marketing and social media marketing. He is a past president of the American Advertising Federation in Pensacola and also serves on several business development and charitable boards including: Northwest Florida IT Advisory Council, High Growth Business Advisory Board, IT Gulf Coast Board of Directors, GSTC Business Technology Advisory Committee, Pensacola Downtown Improvement Board, Appetite for Life Advisory Board, UWF Institute for Innovative Community Learning Advisory Council and served as executive director for Slowlane.com, an online resource, reference and network for stay-at-home fathers from 1997-2007.
