People & Projects to Watch in '07

Pensacola’s daily newspaper, Pensacola News Journal, identified about 20 People and Projects to Watch For in 2007 (Dec. 31, 2006). Included in this select list was Coco Design Associates Inc. The article touched on the recent and dramatic gain from the move to the new corporate offices downtown but also the new expansion in the way Coco does business. Coco plans to remain a company to watch with new ideas and innovations in web design as well as acquiring a few more people on the team. Coco’s numbers grew in 2006, including the addition of Vice President of Business Development Chris Kenney. Jay Massey, president of Coco Design Associates Inc., says that he would like to further expand the team while still remaining an agile development company.

Massey’s interests do not just include expanding the company. “Downtown redevelopment is important to us and we are honored to contribute to that growth,” Massey comments. He hopes to create more competition in order to retain the intellectual assets of both the company and community. According to Massey, “We are all excited about Coco’s place in downtown Pensacola over the next decade and beyond”.
