Gallery Coco Features Artist Riece Walton for Pensacola Gallery Night


Night Shadow by Artist Riece Walton"What is New Orleans?" It's hot sauce on an oyster poboy with a cold Dixie beer, it's the sound of jazz coming from a corner bar, or Professor Longhair playin' at Tipatina's on a Saturday night. Coco Design Gallery will have the lastest installation, "What is New Orleans?" by Riece Walton. Known for painting his favorite city and love for his home in bold and bright colors on large canvases.

The Exhibit, on display at Gallery Coco, located on 222 N. Baylen, during Gallery Night on Friday, November, 21, 2008 from 5-9 pm. Walton's paintings will remain on display through November and December.

A native of St. Charles Parish and now living in Pensacola, FL. Riece's favorite subject matter is painting jazz greats, delicious food, and New Orleans scenes with a funky twist. As he explains it, " I paint scenes of New Orleans to keep her near me. What I paint is how I know New Orleans?"
