P. Jay Massey, President/CEO of Coco Design Associates (Coco) had one-on-one meetings with representatives from NASA, Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS),  Dept. of Transportation (DOT), Environment Protection Agency (EPA), Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and National Institutes of Health (NIH).  There were also training sessions in Small Business Innovation Research Grant (SBIR) application preparation led by Greenwood Consulting Group though the Florida Small Business Development Center Network (SBDC).

"I found the one-on-one meetings very productive." Massey said, "After speaking with the different federal organizations offering SBIR solicitations, I found there to be exciting opportunities for Coco with both NASA and DOT.  What has me most excited about DOT is the impact Coco can have on our local community, meaning that  any work we do can have a direct affect on local infrastructure as well as an opportunity to bring more technology jobs to Pensacola.  What has me most excited about NASA is, well it's NASA, they land on other planets. What's more exciting than that?"
