Coco Design Wins Success for Alabama Propane Site

Coco Design Associates’ use of attractive graphic design and practical marketing strategies pay off for the Alabama Propane Gas Association (APGA). The APGA website won national acclaim by being lauded as an outstanding propane industry website in the June issue of Butane-Propane News.

APGA Executive Director Lisa Fountain credits the success of the site to Coco Design’s insights into the value of integrating the principles of commercial utility with attractive user interface. The site was praised for its value as an information resource for APGA members and professionals in the propane industry at large.

Fountain says she contracted Coco Design Associates, “to create a web site that would be beneficial to our members but would also provide valuable information to consumers who were interested in our product. Now, the Association is recognized nationwide for having an impressive and useful site,” she said.

Fountain also said she is grateful to Coco Design and congratulated them for a job well done. “Not knowing much about the Internet and web sites, we had to rely on the experience and expertise of the Coco Design consultants.”

P. Jay Massey, president of Coco Design, said he is extremely pleased and honored by the recognition the APGA site has received.”

“This just reinforces our focus on fundamental marketing strategies when we design sites for our clients: make the site easy to find, make it easy for for visitors to get what they came for give them more than they expect and most important of all keep it up to date,” says Massey.

The APGA site was envisioned to become an information clearinghouse for APGA members and propane customers throughout the state. Among the most important features to the APGA staff is the power to quickly and easily update information displayed on the site without outside assistance. This feature allows APGA to change the site content themselves whenever they wish.

The APGA staff makes almost daily site updates to keep APGA members abreast of up-to-the-minute changes within the industry. Dynamic updates also make the site valuable to propane users as the leading source for late-breaking product news and safety information. The site also sports many other useful features. For instance, APGA members can access papers from the site’s informational resource library while consumers can use a zip code search feature to locate an area propane distributor.

Coco Design invites you to visit the nationally recognized APGA website to see how, in the right hands, strong design and practical Internet business sense can be combined to create a commercial website success.
