Coco Design Grows Into Corporate Headquarters

Coco Design Associates, Inc. (Coco) has grown into its new corporate headquarters at 222 North Baylen Street in beautiful downtown Pensacola, Florida. The move is less than a mile from the original location however the floorplan of the new complex represents a 700% increase in square footage and 50% increase in parking.

The new property also provides increases in security, emergency power redundancy, energy efficiency, connectivity, bandwidth as well as increased visibility. The building will support up to three times more employees and contractors as well as 25-person and 50-person multi-use meeting/training rooms.

The building known as the Bell Building, was originally built in 1971 by Southern Bell which later became Bell South.  "The bunker-style facility is a perfect fit for Coco." says Jay Massey, president of Coco.  "It's a single-use property, due to the lack of windows and monolithic design, that has been overlooked or underutilized for years.  However, it is everything we want for our corporate headquarters; it is safe, secure, energy efficient, with lots of room to grow and have fun.  After all we are a technology company so we have to have room for our fun, like air hockey, ping-pong and foosball tables.  We also have plans for a "quiet room" with futon, recliner and a massage chair.  The later is used for the monthly massage we provide as an added benefit for our development staff."

The historic property that previously housed the Coco Design is located in the Seville Historic District at 245 E Intendencia Street. "The Intendencia office was a wonderful building and helped us grow into the company that we always wanted to become.  The new corporate office will leverage that success well into the next decade." says Massey.  Customers can expect an increased level of service and better accessibility at the new location.
