In an effort to enhance emerging business development in and around the Pensacola area, Coco Design Associates, Inc. (Coco) established the Coco Cares grant program. Coco Cares grants support selected nascent entrepreneurs in the Northwest Florida area that are in need of internet marketing support and do not have the means to afford a professional web development agency.
The program is designed to apply the full range of Coco's services including web design, graphic design, UI design, web hosting, email services, spam filtering, content management, internet marketing strategy, etc. to the benefit of one local entrepreneurial firm each year.
Coco Design Associates, Inc. will donate up to ten thousand dollars in free or reduced cost website design and internet marketing services to area business that win the Coco Cares award each year. This is done in an effort to stimulate the growth of the local business community as well as Pensacola downtown redevelopment.
The Coco Cares grant recipient for 2007 is Sumo Sushi in downtown Pensacola, Florida.
We are honored to award Sung Register, owner of Sumo Sushi, This year's (2007) Coco Cares award. Sumo Sushi is located at 224 E. Garden Street in the Carlton Palm building. Sung has worked in sushi restaurants for over 13 years. Since working at Hot Rock Sushi, Sung has been dreaming of opening her own place. Sung takes pride in making everything on her menu by hand and from scratch.
